Muay Thai Basic Techniques

Martial Arts Muay Thai has its own technology. It consists of the use of nine weapons. The head, fists, elbows, knees and feet are collectively known as Na-wa arwud. But today the use of the head is no longer allowed in Muay Thai fights. Muay Thai is used in a conflict to low (Clinch) for purposes of defense and attack. Muay Thai techniques are divided into two groups: Mae May or main techniques are dividedLuk and never or technical Minor. All the techniques of Muay Thai use the entire body movement, the rotation of the hip, in whole or in part, with each shot, kicks and blocks. This is the reason, Muay Thai apart from other forms of martial arts.

Punching techniques (Chok)

Straight punch = Mud Dhrong

Hook = Mud Wjang St.

Swing = Mud Wjang Yao

Spinning Back fist = Mud Wjang Glab

Upper Cut = MudSeub

Cobra Punch = Kra-Dod Chok

Above the head of Punch = Mud Khouk

Justices of Muay Thai fights points less on the basis of the fighters for the punching techniques as they are usually less effective and more powerful than kicks or knee drops. Body punching is also used less in Muay Thai, as the head of the hunter down, strikes the knee or elbow his opponent.

Techniques elbow (DHEE Sork)

Elbow Slash = SorkDHEE

Horizontal Elbow = Sork Dhad

Upper Cut Elbow = Sork ngader

Forward elbow Thrust = Sork Poonk

Reverse Horizontal elbow = Sork Glab wjang

Spinning Elbow = Sork Glab

Elbow Chop = Sork Sap

Double Elbow Chop = Sork Glab Koo

Mid Air Elbow Strike = Gra-Dode Sork

The elbow is in seven species in Muay Thai, horizontally, diagonally upward, downward diagonally, uppercut, downward, backward used to turnand flies. The elbow is also used by the parties as a finishing move or eyebrow cut the enemy in a way that bleeds. Bleeding blocks the vision and also affects the performance of the fighters.

Kicking Techniques: (DHE)

Straight Kick = DHE Dhrong

Nutcracker Kick = DHE Paa Maak

Roundhouse Kick = DHE Dhad

Diagonal Kick = DHE Chivang

Half-spin, half knee kick = DHE Krueng Kheng Krueng Kao

Spinning Hill Kick = DHE GlabLong

Roundhouse kick down = DHE Kod

Ax Hill Kick = DHE Khouk

Jump Kick = Gra-Dode Dhe

Step Up Kick = Dhe yiep

The most commonly occurring in Muay Thai are Foot Jab (Theep) and calcium (TAE),) upwards in the shape of a triangle orientation of the ribs and arms (Chieng. The kick angle in Muay Thai has been in many other forms of martial arts, because it is very effective. The roundhouse kick is almost equalthe kicks used in karate or taekwondo. Many Muay Thai fighters also uses a counter rotation of the arms for the power of his best football. A Muay Thai fighter is always taught to hit him in the shin. Although the shin is very sensitive for an untrained person the shin is the strongest part of the leg than the foot, because it contains fine bones and is much weaker.

Techniques knee (DHE KAO)

Straight Knee Strike = Kao Dhrong

Diagonal knee strikeKao = Chijang

Flexion knee strike = Kao Kouwng

Horizontal Knee Strike = Kao Dhad

Knee Slap = Kao Dhob

Knee Bomb = Kao Youwn

Flying Knee Strike = Kao Loi

Step up Knee Strike = Kao yiep

Other Knee Techniques: - Kao Dode: (Jumping Knee Strike) Jump on one leg and kick with legs and knees. - Kao Loi: (Flying knee) Take step (s), forward and jump off one leg and strike with the legs and knees. - Kao Tone: (Straight KneeStrike) is pushing forward. Not upward, if the militants holding opponents head down in a clinch and intend to knee up in the face. - Kao Noi: (Small knee strike) If the inside of the thigh (above knee), the enemy with folding.

Foot Thrust Techniques: (Theep)

Straight Foot Thrust = TEEP Dhrong

Sideways Foot Thrust = TEEP Kang

Reverse Foot Thrust = TEEP Glab Lang

Foot Thrust = cut TEEP Dhob

Jumping Foot Thrust = Gra-Dode TEEP

It 'also known as "push-kicks," known and commonly used in Muay Thai. It is mainly used to attack the enemy attacks, and get the opponent off balance sheet.

Combatants in the arm clinch position:

There is a difference of Muay Thai boxing West. During the arm clinch position the fighters are separate in western boxing, but not in Muay Thai. There are different techniques of Muay Clinch> Thai, including:

- Arm Clinch

- Side Clinch

- Low and Clinch

- A swan's neck.

Defense techniques against attacks:

It is as divided into six groups:

1. Blocking: Defenders prevent hard block to stop a strike in the way, so that it meets its objectives.

2. Redirection Change: Defender soft parade the instructions of a strike so that it misses the target.

3. Evasion: Moving a body part quickly astray or a range of a strike, so thatthe position of the opponents for a Counter Strike.

4. Escape: the movement of the body of half or a range of a strike.

5. Disruption: Pre-target of an attack.

6. Anticipation: Defender began a strike or a struggle to find them first.
